After three months of beta testing through experimental drivers 1.01.0098, Creative has finally released the first version of the final unified drivers for the operating system Windows 7 and the external sound card USB legacy.
The new drivers are supposed to be perfectly stable with Seven and are compatible with the following soundcards: Sound Blaster Audigy 2 NX Sound Blaster Connect, Digital Music, Digital Music LX, Digital Music PX, Digital Music SX, Live! 24-bit External Sound Blaster MP3 + Sound Blaster Surround 5.1 Officially, Windows Vista and Windows XP are not compatible with these drivers 1.01.0099 although a quick scan of the archive seems to prove otherwise.
